BSIT – IV EDUACTIONAL FIELD TRIP (September 17-19, 2009)

September 17, 2009. Thursday, the most waited day for the fourth year BSIT students. It was the first day of their 3-day Educational Field trip in Calamba, Laguna, the hometown of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
Exactly 6:00 in the morning of the same day when the class departed from ASIST Lagangilang, Campus with their PI 100 adviser, Mr. Guitolio Batoon and with their IT instructor, Mr. Jovanie Borce. The trip was very nice because the whole class was very happy and it was really a lot of fun riding with nice teachers who know how to make students laugh while in travel. Beyond 9 o’clock in the morning of September 17 when the class had their first stop over at Tagudin. After a short while, the trip continued and lunch was held in Sison, Pangasinan at 1:30 in the afternoon. After the lunch, the class immediately left the place going to their first destination, the guest house of calamba where they will logde. It was a very tiring trip for them because the place was far and the 10 hour target trip becomes 14hour trip because they were lost in calamba and they couldn’t find the place. The whole class thought their adviser, driver and one of the students knew the right way, but unfortunately, they didn’t know as well. It was already passed 8 o’clock in the evening when they started asking with the people in calamba. Two men were already asked but still, they couldn’t find the right way, aha! And finally, one man taught them the right way and served as the guide, luckily they found the house where they will be lodging, but before lodging in the house, they first had their dinner at the Jollibee near the guest house. Some the tripper let’s say all the tripper were was ready not good and tiring .some of them dined at Jollibee, some at a food court and the other stay in the car and they had their dinner there.
The dinner was over and the time has come for them the take a rest. They went to the house and it was goo to know then it was good to know that it was air condition were the trippers can have a good rest. The class was distributed, 3 persons per room and the some 5 per room. Midnight when they had their bath and after drying the hair, slept immediately.
Sept.18, 2009 at 7:00 am, as the trippers wake up, they had their both and had their breakfast in a food court. After some picture taking in front of the guest house, first trip has done. First destination is the Rizal’s house. It was a huge full of antiques. From there, they came to know more/deeper about the Rizal family especially about our national hero, Dr. Rizal. Of course, picture taking was not out of their business. The tour resumed for about 30 minutes.
At 9:00 a.m, the tour directed to the Camp Vicente Lim, just in front of the Guest House where they lodged. 4 police officers served as the tour guides, 3 ladies and 1 man. The tour again was done within an hour.
Lunch break!! Their tummies again began to complain. They had their lunch in the canteens inside the camp before going back to the guest house.
It has been quarter to one when they had returned to the house for a bath. They wee bath before leaving Calamba, of course they paid to the counter, 255 each.
1:30 pm of September 18, the next spot is luneta park. Because of the bad weather condition, it was not visited to the trippers. Instead of going to Luneta, the adviser decided to lead them in SMNorth EDSA. It was not bad decision because from there, the class saw Dingdong Dantes, Rhian Ramos and some actors and actresses except for some. Their time was not wasted. After watching the shoot, the class was grouped. Some went to the Trinoma Mall, some had their shopping at the SM North EDSA and some went to Guadalupe. 10 o’clock in the evening, and they haven’t had their dinners and their tummies again began to complain. Some of the trippers had their lunch in the Jollibee inside the mall and some went to a food court.
It was very tiring walking and walking around the mall but what is important is that, they bonded and enjoyed the company of one another.
It has been passed 10 in the evening when the troupe departed from Manila. Nest destination of the trippers should be the Ninoy Aquino Museum in Tarlac City. Unfortunately, they were not able to visit the said museum because of their adviser’s decision, maybe he was already tired. It was already dawn of September 19 when they reached San Fernando, La Union and t bus had a problem. While waiting, the class had their food trip, some had coffee and the others had noodles. After a few minutes, they resumed the ride. Passed 7:00 in the morning g of September 19 when the bus stopped at Sta. Cruz, Ilocos Sur due to some mechanical problems. It took for about 30 minutes in fixing the bus and the class had their breakfast in a Frank stand. There, some problems with the payment and it were the seller’s fault.
About 10:00 in the morning and the class had their swimming at the Suso Beach according to the class’ request. After bathing, they also had their halu-halo and then continued travelling. The trippers stopped at the Sta. Maria market to buy some pasalubong or a present for their loved ones. After an hour of they went home happily and it has been passed one n the afternoon of September 19 when they reached ASIST.
The trip was really not that fine for them, but for the trippers, the most important thing is that, they were happy and enjoyed the company of one another and of course they were also happy that even in a short time, they forgot all their worries awhile enjoying the company of one another.

Thank Yous!!!!

Guys, another year, another success, and another set of thank yous, but this time it's different. This thank yous is to celebrate our success in the past year....

Friends (BSIT-IV - batch 2009-2010), you are the reason why I am standing still!!! Thank you for making me strong when I could not stand alone, thank you for making me laugh when I am sad and thank you very much for making me a fighter. Without you, I would be nothing but a pathetic loser!!!

I know I've never been the friend you wanted me to be but still, you always comfort me when I have troubles and I am really thankful for that. There will be no word that could express how thankful I am for having you in my life!!

If I will be given a chance to say something to you that would reveal how I really feel towards you, the truth is, no words can express how much I really love you, but if you really insist, just remember this, "I love you and I will never ever forget you!!!" I cannot promise not to leave you but this I assure you, I will always treasure what we've had!!!

Through the hard times we've had, we still keep in touch no matter what!!!

My Song!!

WE ARE ONE

Two very different people
Too scared to get along
Till two hearts beat together
Underneath one sun
One very special moment
Can turn a destiny
And what some would say
Could never change
Has changed for you and me

cause its all its all in the way you
Look through your eyes
And when all is said and done
All of the fear and all of the lies are
Not hard to overcome
Its all in the way you look at it
That makes you strong
We were two we were two
Now we are one

We are two very different people
So much to overcome
So why care for one another
When theres so much to be done

Cause sometimes it s necessary
Just look how far we ve come
You could say my friend that
It s the end
Or a new tale has begun

cause its all its all in the way you
Look through your eyes
And when all is said and done
All of the fear and all of the lies are
Not hard to overcome
Its all in the way you look at it
That makes you strong
We were two we were two
Now we are one

One moment in time
Is all the time we need
Just to make a difference
To make it better for you and for me
It you just believe

Oh yeah
Just open your eyes

cause its all its all in the way you
Look through your eyes
And when all is said and done
All of the fear and all of the lies are
Not hard to overcome
Its all in the way you look at it
That makes you strong
We were two we were two
Now we are one

Oh yeah oh yeah
We were two
Now we are one

About this site

The primary function of this community-based site is to help you select the best freeware product for your particular needs.

The best freeware programs are as good as or better than their commercial counterparts but finding the most appropriate program can be challenging.

Sure, there are dozens of freeware download sites on the web, but few of these actually help you select the best program for your needs.

That's what we do here. No downloads, just honest advice and useful guidance.

It's honest because this is a community-based site staffed by volunteers and we have no commercial affiliations.

How to use this site

Let's say you want a free firewall. That's not a problem as there are over thirty available

The real problem is which one you should choose to meet your needs.

At this site it's easy; just go to our review of free firewalls. There you will find recommendations for average users and advanced users as well. And although there are no downloads on this site we provide links where you can safely and securely download the product you want.

To find our firewall reviews and recommendations just type in "firewall" into the search box that appears at the top right of every page. Alternatively select the "Security" category from the home page and then select "Firewalls" from the list of security products presented to you.

Once you've found the firewalls review page you'll be quickly able to find the product you want. Furthermore you will know that what you have selected is the best available.

Site History and Origin: "The 46 Best-ever Freeware Utilities"

This community-based site is operated by Ian "Gizmo" Richards with the able assistance of over 60 volunteer site editors.

Until July 2008 Gizmo was the editor of "Support Alert", a highly regarded monthly technical newsletter that was distributed to over 150,000 subscribers. This site is an evolutionary development of an earlier site associated with the newsletter that was started in October 2000. This site was the home of Gizmo's highly popular list of the "46 Best-ever Freeware Utilities." Over time that list grew well beyond 46 and reached the point where it could not be maintained by one person.

The current wiki-style site started operation in May 2008. It utilizes the contribution of dozens of volunteer editors who edit and moderate suggestions from thousands of site visitors. As a result the range of free software covered by this site is ever increasing and quality of the reviews ever improving.

In a real sense this site has become the Wikipedia® for Freeware.
